Start Bath presents Black light, a term originating in the Black Arts Movement, as a medium. The text is presented as a propositional broadside. Influenced by technical manuals, it provides instructions for a new activation of the archive. Viewers become makers as they engage with the same medium that constitutes the work on view. By proposing a new medium, the boundaries of a historical archive are disputed.
