Livia Krohn Miller

“I locate my work at the intersection of speculative fiction, craft, open source culture, and queer feminist theory. I seek constraints from my ecosystem and draw inspiration from the found materials around me. I am interested in being more like a plant, and unpicking what it means to be an animal who builds a complicated nest. My plastic textile sculptures sit in the space between Donna Haraway, Superstudio, Ruth Asawa and Octavia E Butler.”
