Gabriel Moreno

Gabriel Moreno (b. Galesburg, IL 1992) is a Mexican-American artist working in sculpture and drawing. His process asks who, what, and where is left after "the end”. He engages in sculpture's formal and philosophical themes of reduction, removal, and openness as a way of seeing what permeates our contemporary spaces of “invisibility” and “ “emptiness.” What unfolds are concerns of loss, change, and endurance that highlight the work that memory is required to perform.
