Evelyn Shi

I am exploring fictional narratives in the context of accelerated digital evolution. In this collection of work, I survey and preserve the materials from my hard drive, which will soon be wiped to free up disk space. In the digital space online, fictional stories are not used as escapism, but instead become fused with the “real” world. I work with sound samples contributed by online social communities and text from my own writings in the science fiction and fantasy genres. Always, a few errors appear along the way. These are also absorbed into the fiction.
