Nguyên Cécile Thanh Ngô

Cécile Ngô is a mixed media artist whose work focuses on one’s relationship to the self in the aftermath of trauma. Using materials as a reflection of the body, they are interested in how we hold parts of ourselves together after fracture. They are exploring the extent to which something can be repaired. How can something rendered incapable of returning to its original state be mended, so that it can live on without its lost parts?
